Turn me over, brothers, I am done enough on this side

Piano: Erik Satie, Pièces froides No. 2 “Danses de travers” No. 1 and No. 2

The three Danses de travers (Crossed-up dances), which make up the second series of Erik Satie’s Pièces froides (Cold Pieces), are some of my all-time favorites for piano, haunting and beautiful.  I recorded these, the first two out of the three, at home back in December of 2016, on a Tascam recorder with a couple of mics connected.  I rediscovered them today while tidying up files, and decided I’d put them up on my SoundCloud account as a sort of record of the past.  My playing has changed since then, but these still sound alright to me.  Also, I remember how many takes I had to do before getting one with no mistakes, which maybe increases the value they have for me personally ¯\(°_o)/¯
